What you are about to read is, first, a story that has been deliberately left unfiltered, and second, a way of life for some of us in-system. We talk about things that a lot of people would take one look at and then promptly run away from, and we do so without reservation. You have been warned.
Many of the materials on this website have the potential to induce altered states of consciousness when red or listened to. For this reason, you are asked not to read or listen to them, or to engage with them in any other way, while doing anything requiring your full attention or awareness. We may not be able to directly stop you from doing things you ought not to do, but we can and will advise courses of action that have a lower likelihood of ending with someone getting hurt.
This is, before anything else, a story about a period of our lives. It is told in the way it is in hopes that you, the readers, can catch a glimpse of what it was like to experience some of these things in a more direct way than simply reading our accounts of what took place. In saying that, however, we next want to point out that we aren't trying to start a movement, a religion or even a community. You are under no obligation to read, listen to, or otherwise interact with anything on the site, whether it's in the project index or not. Yes, even if the text brings a sense of urgency to the idea that you do so, or asks you to consider something, or anything else we haven't mentioned here. We are not a cult, and don't want to be one. Your decisions, and wellbeing, matter, over and above anything involving us. If you find something that makes your life better, then by all means take it. If you find something that makes your life worse, In the past, we, as a system, have described StarHaven as a cult. Fundamentally, we still stand by that description as it relates to the StarHaven of the past, but no longer feel it applies to Kira's work, or, for that matter, our own. Havenism is an expression of a collection of ideas; some of that expression may involve unusual things at points, but we would never dream of crossing the line into the types of controlling, destructive, and/or dangerous things cults are usually known for. We will never ask you for your money. We will never ask you for your contact information. We do not have, nor do we plan to add, any features that would require you to have an account with us. We create things, and we post them to the site. If anyone calls you claiming to be us, hang up. They're trying to scam you. Though we may be passionate, and have every intention of speaking without filters, we will never demand that you stay loyal to either us or to the messages we promote. Anyone who contacts you claiming to be us, making demands along these lines and/or not respecting your refusal to comply with such demands, is not representative of either us or our work. We ask that you do whatever is necessary to keep yourself safe with the least amount of force possible, and don't hesitate to reach out for help, whatever that may look like for you. We may say some extreme things at points. This does not give you authorization to commit crimes, harm others, or the like in our name or the name of Havenism. Doing such things goes directly against the spirit of everything we're trying to convey. We may, or may not, be seeking some kind of societal revolution; we're not sure about that yet. We do know, however, that Crime sprees committed in association with us or what we're trying to accomplish will do nobody, including you, any favors. If you're thinking about doing something you shouldn't, don't. It's not worth it. Don't be. We are quite aware of the world around us, and of what is and isn't considered real in said world. We also happen to be plural, and many of us have lives in worlds elsewhere. There is nothing wrong or indicative of a mental illness in us living this way. Along similar lines, there is nothing pathological about us finally giving voice to those experiences, on the Internet, where we, in theory, don't need to censor ourselves. The following pages are an interactive story; remember to treat it like one. We are not a cult and don't want to be one. Your wellbeing always comes first. When listening to, or looking at, things on the site, use common sense. Don't start or continue tasks that require your full attention while engaged with things up here, don't commit crimes or do other inadvisable things in the name of Havenism, and seek some form of assistance if people pretending to be us start taking things too far. We are mentally stable, insofar as you can be in a world seemingly intent on tearing itself apart, and don't see our living in multiple realities Simultaneously as anything other than another state of being.Things we don't do
Things not to do
If you're worried about our connection to reality...
